Vigna Rocchetta is a recently built holiday home in traditional Piedmont style, completely private, located just outside the hamlet of Rocchetta Palafea. The luxury home is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and vineyards kept by the owners who make their own wine.
The house is a harmonious mix of traditional architecture and a contemporary interior. Old stone walls and beamed ceilings are combined with beautiful lighting, Scandinavian design and black steel elements, the wooden furniture and doors provide a robust base.
Vigna Rocchetta is equipped with luxurious amenities that make your stay extremely comfortable; such as fine bedlinens, care products in the modern bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen where you or a 'chef at home' can enjoy themselves. In the spacious open-plan living room, you will find a place to relax and eat. There are 5 bedrooms on the two top floors (for a total of 10 people). The ensuite master bedroom has a free-standing bath in the room and like some of the other bedrooms access to a balcony from which to enjoy spectacular views.
The house has inviting outdoor spaces where you can linger all day long. While you rest at the fantastic infinity pool, the children can play in the water or on the lawn. The covered terrace is ideal for a siesta or a good book, and you can make real Italian pizzas with fresh produce from the vegetable garden in the wood-fired pizza oven.
After relaxing in the house, you can head out to explore the region. Visit the towns of Canelli, Acqui Terme, and Nizza Monferrato or discover the authentic flavors of Piedmont in a wine tasting, cooking class, or maybe a truffle hunt - all organized by the host!

Vigna Rocchetta is a luxurious and spacious holiday home that has been newly built in a typical local style. The house has three floors and is nestled in a lush garden that offers a beautiful view over the vineyards to the mountains.
Layout Vigna Rocchetta
Ground floor
- A large open kitchen/living room with a lounge area furnished with a television, fireplace, and two comfortable L-shaped sofas. French doors provide direct access to the covered terrace with a large dining table.
- The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more ... an electric hob, microwave, oven, wine cooler, sous vide machine, dishwasher, American fridge, designer extractor hood, espresso machine, and plenty of cooking utensils.
- Opposite the kitchen is a robust wooden dining table for 12 people.
- Next to the living room is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink as well as a utility room with a washing machine, dryer, ironing facilities, and large storage cupboards
First and second floors
- Spread over these two floors are 5 spacious bedrooms, all with good quality double beds that can be separated into two single beds.
- There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first is a (very spacious) master suite, which has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a free-standing bath in the room. This room has access to the balcony above the terrace.
- The other equally spacious bedroom also has its own bathroom with a shower and access to the balcony.
- On the second floor are two smaller bedrooms that share a bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms have a balcony with a table and two chairs.
- The third bedroom on this floor is an ensuite bedroom with a bathroom with a shower.
- In all bathrooms, you will find bath slippers, and care products from the Meraki brand.
The house also has underfloor heating (you can use this to cool the house in summer) and WiFi internet.
Outside
- A covered terrace with a dining table and an outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven and a gas barbecue
- A lush garden with a vegetable and herb garden where you can pick fresh produce
- Beautiful infinity pool (4x11m) with a shallow end for children and a sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas
- Below the pool is a lawn where the children can play
- Parking lots

On request, the refrigerator can be filled upon arrival and 2 high chairs, 2 baby cots, changing mat, children's crockery, toys, etc. can be arranged for the little ones. The host also offers various activities in our outside the house including:
- Wine classes and tastings in the house
- Cooking classes (including a pizza class)
- Cheese tastings
- Chef at home or the delivery of chef-prepared meals (which you only need to heat up)
- Luxury wine rack with an exemplary selection of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines
