Lanzarote is known for its abundance of light, space, and breathtaking panoramas. Villa Alcalde offers these three elements in abundance, thanks to an open design and views "as far as the eye can see". This luxury holiday villa with seven bedrooms, suitable for 14/16 people, is located on the edge of Mácher, a rural village in the south of the island, on a 1,200 m² site. Inside a stylish rustic-chic décor in soothing gray colors, accented by some details in mustard tones. On the top floor are a large open living area and a modern kitchen, giving access to the magnificent terraces. On this floor, there is also a bedroom and a bathroom. Five bedrooms with private bathrooms are situated on the ground floor.

The beautifully landscaped garden has a sunken heated swimming pool blocked from the wind and a gorgeous Jacuzzi on a raised deck. Here and on the terrace, you will spend many hours, enjoying those views - volcanic scrub, dotted with palm trees and whitewashed houses, to the horizon.

In the garden, children have plenty of room to play. Older kids will love the ping pong table and pool table, while all ages will have fun in the swimming pool. Relax together in the separate chill-out in the garden (in an outbuilding) or use this space as the 7th bedroom, fully equipped with a bathroom. Also, there is an inviting barbecue zone with a fire pit in the middle of the rocks.

If you like to dine out one evening, you’ll find three restaurants within walking distance. For hikers, sports enthusiasts and those looking for a relaxed group or family vacation, Villa Alcalde is the perfect getaway. The extensive sandy beaches of Puerto del Carmen are 10 minutes away and offer plenty of sun, sand, and water sports fun.

For more natural beauty, visit the lunar landscapes of Timanfaya National Park, the bizarre vineyards of La Geria, the otherworldly volcanic caves at Jameos del Agua and the beautiful bays of Papagayo. A unique place where family and friends can fully escape

Villa Alcalde is a luxury 7-bedroom/8- bathroom holiday villa. Quietly set near the centrally located village of Mácher, the house enjoys an elevated position and offers an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding volcanic landscape.

Layout of the villa

Upper floor

  • To maximize the natural light and views from the villa, you will find the large open living room on the upper floor. The lounge area flows into the dining room with a large 10-seater wooden dining table and modern kitchen. Over the entire length and on both sides of the kitchen glass doors open onto the terraces.
  • The sleek white kitchen is stylish and practical. It is equipped with an oven, microwave, electric hob, dishwasher and a coffee machine. It contains everything you might need to cook a delicious dinner for family and friends.
  • The terraces not only offer breathtaking views but are also an extension of the living areas to enjoy breakfast and to unwind.
  • On the upper floor, you will also find a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. Besides, there is a TV room with comfortable sofas, one of which serves as a double sofa bed for extra guests.

Ground floor

  • On the ground floor, there are five bedrooms, two of which can be arranged as a double room with two separate beds. The other rooms are all equipped with king-size beds.
  • All rooms have wood-beamed ceilings, stone floors and provide a peaceful atmosphere. They offer all modern comforts and include an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. Except for one, all rooms have direct access to the garden.

Annex

  • The adjoining annex benefits from beautiful natural light and views of the gardens. It is a perfect chill-out area for yoga and meditation or can serve as a 7th double bedroom, perfect for those seeking a little more privacy. The room is also equipped with a bathroom.

Outside

  • Villa Alcalde is surrounded by a vast plot of 1,200 m² with beautifully landscaped gardens.
  • The showpieces in the garden are the sunken and heated swimming pool and a separate jacuzzi on a raised deck.
  • In addition, there is a large fire pit barbecue, plus a kitchenette with a fridge and a sink.
  • On the sun loungers at the poolside, on the comfortable sofas on the terrace, or in the rock garden, you can relax, while the children have fun in the play area at the pool and ping pong table.
