Passing the village of Santa Pau, driving through wooded hills, you will find the stunning rustic-chic Catalonian Villa Can Batlle. The Spanish owners Albert and Christina have created a deeply peaceful place to share a very special holiday together. Christina is the person behind the quirky, magnificent, vintage interior with antique finds, clever lightning and eye for detail. Albert is the hospitable service-minded host/cook and will make you feel welcome.
Lay-out Villa Can Batlle: First floor:
- You enter the Masia through the long hallway that is situated on the first floor.
- Four of the five bedrooms are on this floor, two at the beginning and two at the end
- Four bedrooms are double rooms with a complete bathroom and their own terrace or balcony
- One bedroom is equipped with 2 bunk beds, ideal for 4 children and a small bathroom with a toilet and sink
- In this hallway there is also an old oratory/chapel that they have kept as they found it, helps set the tone for the vintage decor
- Passing the old chapel you will enter a former kitchen with a wood fuelled oven where they have placed a display with local products for you to buy.
All of the bedrooms are different, but spacious and pampering. All bedrooms have an own en-suite spoiling bathroom. They have many special features, one has a wellness bath, the other a cosy fireplace, three of them have their own private covered terrace with view to the garden and mountains. The fifth bedroom has its own entrance and is seperate from the main building. Also this room is spacious and has its own bathroom.
Ground floor: On the ground floor you will find:
- a small library with a lot of books
- dining room
- lounge with fireplace
- room for indoor games
- huge professional kitchen
- honesty bar
There are quiet spots to sit and read, balconies to take in the views, generous beds (one with a headboard made from a 300-year-old piece of wood) and spoiling bathrooms, cleverly hidden behind screens where you can enjoy our most precious asset: tranquillity

Albert and Christina live with their family in another house on the property, however you have complete privacy. They can offer you extra services according to your wishes, such as breakfast, dinner, shopping service.
