Villa Crotto enjoys an exceptional position, within walking distance of the beautiful Lake Como in northern Italy. This fully detached villa - suitable for 10 people - is an ideal holiday home for a stylish family vacation or getaway with a group of friends who love luxury and Italian style. The accommodation can only be reached via several (steep) stairways. This makes the property less suitable for elderly guests, people with reduced mobility, or families with strollers. Please also keep in mind that luggage and groceries need to be carried up these stairs.

The layout of Villa Crotto (350m2):

The villa is distributed over three floors, furnished with high-quality fashionable design furniture. The rooms exude an industrial, lofty atmosphere, which is emphasized by the frequent use of shades of gray, from the windows, doors, floors, and walls to the attractive accessories. This accommodation is a masterpiece of taste that blends in harmoniously with the original rock walls and the elegant style of the villa.

All rooms have lake view except bedroom number 22-23- 24 which, however, have direct access to the garden on the 2nd floor. The rooms - equipped with very comfortable beds – are restful, partly because of the use of subdued colors. The five modern bathrooms are all equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet.

Ground floor:

• Fully equipped kitchen with top-quality appliances such as a large oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, professional ice maker, and countless possibilities to make coffee.
• Dining room annex wine cellar (in the "crotto"). A beautiful space with visible rock walls, a huge dining table for 18 people, bio-fireplace and wine storage behind a glass wall. Here you can taste the fantastic combination of modern design in an authentic structure.
• From the entrance, you have access to the guest toilet.

First floor: 

• Room 11: Studio for one person (sofa bed) and French balcony
• Room 12: Double bedroom with French balcony
• These two rooms have a shared bathroom.

Second floor:

• Living with Apple TV, Sonos music system, Spotify and comfortable design couch where you can enjoy listening to music as well as the panoramas over the lake. There is also a balcony.
• Room 21: Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and view on the lake
• Room 22-23- 24: Three bedrooms that feature an area with a wardrobe and sofa bed (for one person) from where an industrial staircase takes you to a cozy loft with a luxurious double box spring bed. All rooms have their own bathroom (room 24 ensuite). These rooms have access to a garden at the back of the house and have air conditioning.

Outside:

• In the garden on the lakeside, you’ll find a dark gray concrete pool ((2,5 x 6 x 1,2 & heated in spring and autumn) that is open from the beginning of May to mid-October. It offers a gorgeous view of the lake, and on the eight loungers, you can enjoy the sun.
• From this garden, you can also reach Lake Como within walking distance, and on the way back you can rinse your feet in the villa's outdoor shower.
• On the covered terrace, stands a concrete dining table for 18 people.
• There is also an outdoor kitchen and BBQ.
• Enjoy Italian wine, savory dishes, and picturesque views of the lake. The Italian Dolce Vita!
• On the mountainside, there is another terrace with stylish lounge chairs and direct access to the winter garden. A wonderful oasis of peace that is even more beautiful in the evening with its glittering lights.
• The villa enjoys a stunning hillside position with panoramic views over the lake. Please be aware that there are neighbors nearby, and it is important to be considerate about noise levels.

• 3 bedrooms have air conditioning and 2 have a natural cooling system
• Room with washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
• The villa has games for inside and outside and for the little ones a high chair and cot can be arranged.
• Parking in this part of Lake Como is very limited. The villa offers one private parking space within walking distance. If you are traveling with more than one car, please take this into account and plan accordingly.
