VillaVerde is a unique project of hostess Heidi and her three daughters. They welcome their guests with an extremely friendly service in their alluring aparthotel in the quiet village of Algund (Lagundo) amid the idyllic mountain landscape of South Tyrol.
The hotel has 35 apartments divided over two buildings: a historic charming villa that was renovated with dedication by local craftsmen and a modern wooden construction located in a beautiful park. The furnishings are characterized by high-quality and durable materials and harmoniously combine the nostalgic with the modern: handmade furniture and design classics are mixed with antiques found at flea markets. The spacious apartments - for 2-4 people - have a living room with a well-equipped kitchenette, luxurious bathrooms, and ultra-comfortable beds. They also have their own balcony or terrace with dining tables and loungers.
You will surely get excited about the amenities; there is a spot for everyone to relax. First of all, the traditional coffee house in Viennese style where you can enjoy excellent coffee and homemade cakes all day long, or take them with you on the outdoor terrace or in the imposing library with fireplace. Outside is a fragrant herb garden, a natural swimming pond with a wooden walkway and sunbathing area in the middle of the park, and a 25m-long heated swimming pool. Then we had not yet mentioned the VillaVerde Spa with three saunas, relaxation rooms, and numerous massages and treatments on request.
Every morning in the coffee house you will be spoiled with a fantastic breakfast buffet with seasonal regional ingredients including homemade cakes, nuts, muesli, bread, and many more fresh delicacies. The hotel is a great starting point for walks and bike rides (there is a lockable bicycle room and e-bikes can be rented in the village).
For culture and history, the center of Merano is less than 2 km away. Gourmands can take vineyard and cheese tours nearby and enjoy an excellent range of restaurants in town. Should you wish to explore the area further, the charming town of Bolzano (the gateway to the Dolomites) is only half an hour away!

VillaVerde has 35 spacious apartments (from 55 to 85 m²) for 2-4 people. The accommodations are spread over the ground, first and second floors of a 100-year-old fully renovated villa and a beautiful new wooden building.
All apartments have:
- A living room with a kitchenette, equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, 2-burner induction hob, Espresso machine, and kettle.
- One or two (depending on the type) ensuite bedrooms with queen/king-size beds with Tencel duvets.
- The bathrooms are equipped with a shower (some have a bathtub), separate toilet, and bidet. Toiletries (soap, body lotion, and shampoo) from the organic brand Kräuterschlössel are waiting for you.
- A private outdoor area (garden with terrace or balcony) with sun loungers and/or dining table.
- Air conditioning, wifi internet, a Revo SuperConnect Radio, and television.
- All apartments are reachable by elevator so accessible for people with mobility issues. Only apartments M garden have a wider bathroom and are wheelchair friendly, but not specially adapted.
