Tucked away in the unspoiled Vulkaneifel region, you will find Vulkaneifelhaus set on a sunny slope in a beautiful meadow orchard. The architects who designed this house used the slope to create a unique wooden construction - made of recyclable building material - spread over no fewer than seven levels. Thanks to the ingenious design, you will find light, open living areas (with a few intimate corners) with modern furnishings and natural materials such as wood, natural stone, and linoleum. All rooms have their own unique vibe and offer a sweeping view of the surrounding nature through large windows.

From the entrance you reach the attractive living room with a wood-burning stove and then the kitchen with a dining area. It is followed by an ensuite double bedroom with access to the balcony and a loft from which you look down into the living room. Downstairs is the second double bedroom (with ensuite bathroom) and one level down is the garden room with a sofa bed for two and access to the terrace. This makes the house suitable for 6 people and ideal for families or two couples who want to enjoy rest and relaxation. Besides, you will find in the orchard, the neighboring Kleines Vulkaneifelhaus, an intimate retreat for two.

The Volcanic Eifel with its vast forests, volcanic peaks, and crater lakes has beautiful sights that you can easily reach from the house. Hiking and cycling trails start on the doorstep and the UNESCO Geopark Volcanic Eifel and the historic city of Trier are excellent day trip destinations.

  • In the kitchen, there is a dining table with chairs and a wooden bench
  • From the kitchen, you reach the first bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm) and ensuite bathroom, and access to the balcony
