Almières is a completely renovated farmhouse with 4 buildings - which are home to the living and sleeping areas- situated on 9.5 hectares of private grounds of exceptional splendor.

Layout Almieres | 770m2 | 14-15 people

• Living room with Focus hanging fireplace, several sofas, and direct access to a covered terrace.
• Fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and separate storage room. The kitchen is equipped with a steam oven, electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, Nespresso, and kettle.
• Beautiful relaxation area with sauna and Norwegian bath (heated). You can use the sauna for 2 hours daily. Additional hours are at an extra cost.
• The bedrooms are spread over three buildings.

Casa Santiago (4 people)

• Two beautiful small bedrooms, one of which is located on a mezzanine floor.
• Warm living room with sofa and wood stove (pallet stove)
• Bathroom with shower

The Suites (8 people)

• There are a total of 4 suites (40-65m2), each suitable for 2 people and equipped with a double bed, sitting area with sofa or chairs, and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower

The Lodge (2 people)

• Spacious suite (65m2) with a double bed, desk, sitting area with wood stove (pallet stove), and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. The Lodge has a panoramic terrace.

Finally, there is a small (monastery) room with a single bed and a shower.

Remark:

• All suites have an independent entrance and are therefore not connected to each other.
• The terrain is not fenced and has many height differences, making it unsuitable for small children and disabled.
• The living room, kitchen, and sauna can only be reached from the outside.
• The owners live 50m above the accommodation and are available for all your questions during your stay.
• During the colder months, the house is more comfortable for a party of up to 10 people, due to the layout of the living and dining room.

Ecological footprint:
In order to preserve the heritage of the surrounding Causse and its natural environment, Almières takes an environmental approach. Not only during the renovation but also in the actual choice of suppliers, water and energy provision, and its interior design, sustainability is of great importance:

• Water is drawn from the cisterns on the site
• Organic waste is composted and used in the vegetable garden.
• There are wood pellet boilers with very low greenhouse gas emissions
• Local producers have been used for the furnishing, the towels & bathrobes are made of bamboo fibers and the personal care products (solid soaps and shampoos) are organic from the craft company "Natura Causse"
• To limit the effects of electromagnetic fields on the body and to promote sleep, the rooms are equipped with bioswitches. These are mainly used at night and switch off the main power when no power consumption is detected.
• Almières has no Wi-Fi to limit electromagnetic fields (only the office has RJ 45 sockets with adapters.) and no television.
