By Belgian architects and together with Sicilian craftsmen, the house was designed and built in an organic shape resembling a “chiocciola” (@), after which the house is named. Only local, traditional, and natural materials such as sanded concrete floors, sandstone walls, and Socrete mineral resin were used.
Casa la Chiocciolina is also impressive on the inside... light, spacious, minimalist, and stylish, furnished with Italian design furniture, eye-catching contemporary paintings, and some bright red details, with the red pool outside as the highlight! The house features an open-plan living/dining room with a free-hanging Focus fireplace that steals the show, a high-quality Boffi kitchen, and two bedrooms - sleeping four - with state-of-the-art ensuite showers.
The outdoor areas are stunning at any time of the day. Enjoy an al-fresco lunch prepared on the plancha, a cooling dip in the swimming pool with an infinity view, or an aperitif in the lounge corner when the buildings of Noto seem to glow at the setting sun.
Noto's charming streets and excellent restaurants invite you to spend a day out of the house, as do the other baroque gems of Val di Noto: Modica, Ragusa, and Siracusa. For a day at sea, the beaches of the Ionian Sea or the hidden coves in the Vendicari nature reserve beckon. Beauty is here all over the place!

Wonderful stay for 4 persons with breathtaking views
Casa la Chiocciolina is a striking design house, situated on a plot of 17,000m2 with endless views over almond and olive trees. Equipped with every luxury and comfort, it is ideal for couples or a family looking for an exclusive holiday spot surrounded by peace and privacy.
Layout Casa La Chiocciolina | 150m2 | 4 people
- An open plan living/dining room with an Edra flap sofa, integrated library in steel, a Focus hanging fireplace for cold days, and a round dining table.
- A Boffi kitchen with a Carrara worktop and all modern appliances including a dishwasher, Gaggenau full-flex induction hob, V-ZUG oven, and a built-in refrigerator. A small freezer and microwave are hidden in the high cabinets. You will also find a toaster, Nespresso machine, juicer, KnIndustrie crockery, cooking utensils, and cutlery.
- There are two bedrooms, the first bedroom has 2 single beds (80x200cm) that can also be made up as a double bed, an ensuite open shower and sink, and a freestanding Boffi bath.
- The second bedroom has a double bed (160x200cm), a small desk, and sliding glass walls that separate the bedroom from the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
- Both bedrooms have access to a morning terrace with bean bags
Outside:
- Spacious panoramic terrace (100m2) with two lounge chairs and an outdoor mattress (Mr. Blue Sky) for 2 people that can also be used at the pool. In the covered part of the terrace, you will find a beautiful lounge area with built-in benches.
- On the terrace, you find as well a teak dining table with 3 chairs and a built-in outdoor sofa, an Umbrosa parasol and an electric plancha (with a beautiful view)
- A (partial) infinity pool (14x3m / 1.40-1.90 deep)

- Underfloor heating (for winter)
- Samsung Bluetooth Soundbar and wifi internet.
Extra information:
- Due to the embankments of the plot, children must not be left unattended on any of the outdoor terraces and the swimming pool!
