Casa Rucollina is a design holiday home built by Belgian architects, in the southeast of Sicily, near Noto. The house can accommodate eight people and is stylishly decorated with Italian design furniture. Equipped with a variety of facilities for young and old, is this villa an exclusive hideaway for families.

The villa has the following layout:

Ground floor:

• The entire ground floor has a white concrete floor and white walls that are seamlessly blended with natural materials (such as stone walls and wooden window frames) and colorful details.
• The whole house is air-conditioned.
• The entrance leads to the fully equipped open design kitchen of the brand Boffi.
• The owners themselves are very fond of cooking, so the kitchen is equipped with all modern gadgets. The marble cooking island is the heart of the kitchen. Attached is a high, wooden bar table where the whole family can gather for dinner.
• The kitchen is further equipped with a gas cooktop, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator (that is situated in a pantry), a Nespresso coffee machine, and a large oven.
• The lounge area features a comfortable sofa and a fireplace. The large sliding doors provide plenty of light and create an imperceptible transition between inside and outside.
• In the basement of the villa, children can entertain themselves with table football and other games (a Jenga game, Kubb, Connect4 and many Dutch (comic) books.
• There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, all equipped with air conditioning. The rooms feature unique details, colorful accessories, and eye-catching paintings made by a local artist.
• Two bedrooms have a double bed, a ceiling fan and sliding doors that give direct access to the terrace with stunning sea views. Both rooms have an ensuite bathroom that can be closed by a beautiful black glass sliding door including a shower, toilet, and sink.
• The third bedroom has two single beds, a ceiling fan, and a beautiful ochre color wardrobe. This room has a notable high window with spectacular views of the valley and next door a bathroom with shower (in bath), toilet, and sink.

First floor:

• On the first floor is another bedroom with a double bed and a wooden ceiling fan.
• A special glass sliding door opens to the marble shower room and freestanding designer sink. This room has a private terrace overlooking the imposing Cathedral of Noto.



Outside:

• Casa Rucollina is situated on large grounds with hundreds of olive trees, citrus trees, and various types of cacti that provide an oasis of scents.
• The outdoor areas are optimal for dining, sunbathing and enjoying the relaxing holiday atmosphere.
• The center point is the high stone wall, which incorporates a pizza oven and grill.
• Here you also find the fabulous swimming pool (4x16m long and 1.45m deep) with a shallow area where the little ones can play. At the poolside, there are plenty of sun loungers and beach chairs as well as a few parasols to read a book in the shade.
• The swimming pool can be heated for an extra fee.
• Extended to the living room is the panoramic terrace with a concrete table (with built-in chessboard) for 12 people where you can dine beneath the beautiful starry sky with a view of the illuminated city of Noto.
• Around the house are several terraces and a wonderful lawn. For outdoor fun, there is a built-in trampoline and a pétanque court.
