The owners are Costa Brava regulars and have transformed this property from an old house to a minimalistic, luxurious villa that’s perfect for families and small groups. 

The light yellow house is situated on private grounds, with neighbouring houses a short distance away. Shades of white, beige and brown dominate the interiors, along with cane and wood, so you feel an immediate sense of harmony and balance as soon as you enter. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms pay homage to its past by retaining the signature triangular stripes on the ceiling from before the renovation. 

Soak in the lush outdoors and the hush sounds of nature in the garden that surrounds the house. While outside, you can take a dip in the saltwater pool, dig into a barbeque, or get engrossed in your favorite book on the hammock. An outdoor dining table and partially covered terraces are also great spots for the guests to get together and enjoy the vistas over the green hills. The house has a lovely ambiance, even on colder days when you can cozy up around the fireplace inside.

Built in the centre of the Gavarres, La Solana has access to some nature trails for walking, cycling, or jogging. It’s also just a short distance from the sea so you can head down to one of the beaches along the Costa Brava coastline for a swim or just to relax. The main town of Calonge is about 10 minutes away, and the larger cities of Barcelona, Girona, and Figueres are also easily accessible by car.
