Layout Mas de la Costete | 280 m2 | 8 persons

Mas de la Costete features a unique layout, like a maze of discoveries at every turn, yet maintains an open, airy feel. Everyone can easily find a private nook, inside or outside, to relax, take in the surroundings, or cozy up with a book.

• You enter the property through the kitchen where you find all the essentials (e.g. stove, oven, fridge & freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher) for cooking your next culinary delight and even a small nook where to sit & relax. 
• A door from the kitchen leads to the utility room with a washing machine & a dryer. 
• Further on, you access the main living area with a cozy lounge, as well as a dining table for 8 persons. From here you can directly access a private patio where you can relax with a morning coffee. 
• A small staircase leads you to the mezzanine with two single beds (90cm x 200cm), a telescope for watching the night's sky & a plush sofa that also doubles up as a sofa bed. Via the same staircase, you reach the level below into the office & relaxation room where you will find a desk with a computer, a two person sofa & a wood burner. There is a private terrace with a beautiful view you can access from here. 
• On the same level, via the main living area, you access another lounge room with a plush sofa, that also doubles up as a sofa bed. Further on is a bedroom with a large double bed (180cm x 200cm) and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, shower, sink & WC. Adjacent is a private terrace with stunning views over the valley. 
• A staircase takes you to the first floor where you will find the main bedroom with a spacious double bed (180cm x 200cm) and an ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, walk-in rain shower, sink & WC.

Annexe

• The annex offers full separation from the main property but remains easily accessible via an internal connection. You enter through the main kitchen, where a small staircase leads to the landing room and then to the bathroom, which includes a walk-in rain shower, sink & WC.
• Then another staircase takes you to the first floor where you will find a fully equipped kitchen with essentials like a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher & Nespresso machine, as well as a dining area for 4 persons. From here you can access a private terrace surrounded by lush greenery. 
• Lastly, there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160cm x 200cm) and a sofa. 

Outdoor area | 2800 m2

• The swimming pool has a surface area of 96 m² and a depth of 2.8 metres, overlooking the stunning valley.
• Covered outdoor kitchen with a sink, wood BBQ, and a dining table. 
• Many cozy spots & terraces throughout the grounds where to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.
• One private parking space, plus a large public area with room for at least five cars.

Extra information:

• While the property doesn’t have air-conditioning, it stays pleasantly cool thanks to its traditional build. Lime plaster helps the drystone structure breathe and regulate temperature, the stone walls are over a metre thick, and the roof is well insulated. In midsummer, we recommend keeping windows, doors and shutters closed during the day, then airing the house well early morning and after sunset. All bedrooms are equipped with fans.
• The owners produce their own olive oil from the garden, which you’re welcome to use while cooking here.
