Holiday home "Moulin Calbel" is nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys of Quercy. The old watermill is set in complete privacy on a 2-hectares site. Around the mill, you can hear the water of the Petite Seoune, while enjoying the gorgeous view of the medieval village of Beauville.
The ground floor of the mill house consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a large sun-drenched living room and a dining room. There is a fireplace and a wood burning stove for the colder days. On the same level, you will also find the former bakery, which was converted into a second kitchen and can also be used as a party room, cinema, meeting room or even as a small restaurant.
The first floor contains 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one with a bathtub) and two separate toilets. In the large attic, you will find 3 more bedrooms, each with their own bathroom (one with a bathtub) and two separate toilets.
The beautiful and large magnolia tree on the south side of the house offers shade and nicely filtered sunlight. It is the perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of wine and a good book. The terraces above the water and the covered terrace at the back of the mill are as well ideal places for a drink, a meal or to just unwind.
Enjoy a swim in the beautiful large swimming pool (6x18 meters) or in the clean waters of the river “Petite Seoune” and the connecting channel (40 meters) to the mill. Recently the entire compound was completely and tastefully renovated. The owners have retained the character of the antique mill, and complemented with the facilities of a luxury home. Think of wifi, underfloor heating, TV connection, modern kitchen appliances, and so on. The renovated interior exudes elegant simplicity.
