The former wine estate, nowadays produces olive oil. Villa Estrella is situated in the center of this estate and offers room for 16 people , who can all easily stay in style and comfort. The location is marvellous, in a National Park and within walking distance of a charming village.

The layout:

• The driveway takes you to the entrance gate, a promising entrance. Villa Estrella is built against a hillside, so the rooms are at different heights. The pool is lower than the outdoor kitchen and lounge, which in turn is lower than the terrace and house. While at the rear the terrace is higher and adjacent to the bedrooms. A playful layout that is also practical.
• You enter the traditional mansion (cortijo in Spanish) in the hallway, where the utility room is with microwave, washing machine and dryer. From the hallway you enter the bright, spacious living kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and the long dining table next to a fireplace is a wonderful place to gather.
• The living kitchen is half open and leads you to the cozy living room with fireplace, behind which is a double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub. From the living room you can access the terraces outside where there are seats and a hammock hanging. Your grazing neighbors, the sheep and horses, will keep you company.
• The high ceiling gives this room an imposing atmosphere and accommodates the loft where you will find another dining table and sitting area via a beautiful wooden staircase. A nice place for games and a quiet place to read a book. There are over 800 books to choose from!
• An attached wing features a long bright hallway that opens onto five bedrooms. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, three of which have colorful en-suite bathrooms and two of which share a bathroom. One bedroom consists of two rooms at different heights, with a double bed and a separate sofa suitable for 1 person. The three en-suite bedrooms provide access to the sunny terrace at the back of the house. A wonderful place to wake up quietly with a cup of coffee.
• Many authentic details of the cortijo have been preserved, such as the red/white tiles on the floor, the heavy wooden doors and the fireplaces. This gives Villa Estrella character and a warm atmosphere. Nice Moorish details have been added, such as mosaic tiles and atmospheric lamps.
• The house has underfloor heating and two fireplaces for the cooler months and the thick walls and high altitude (650 meters) ensure that the nights are comfortable, even during the hot summer months.
• Next to the pool is the old bodega, where on one side is made an apartment ideal for two people who want some extra privacy. The apartment consists of a cozy living room with kitchen, a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. In the living room there is a sofa bed (1.20 x 1.90) where a third person can sleep. The apartment can be rented as an addition to the house (you then book the whole for 16 people). On the other side of the bodega is a game room with a soccer table and a ping pong table.
• If you walk towards the pool and down a few steps, you will enter the rose garden. Here is a lovely place created with an outdoor kitchen and a long covered dining table for meals outside during the balmy summer evenings. In the rose garden is a romantic sitting area, where you have a beautiful view over the valley. As inside, you will also find beautiful Moorish details outside, such as the wind lamps. 
• From the rose garden you descend a few steps and you arrive at the gate that closes the pool area, safe for small children. The lovely pool is 12 x 5 meters and tiled with green mosaic tiles. There are sun loungers to relax on in the sun and umbrellas for a spot of shade. Next to the pool you will find another toilet and shower. Rightly the most popular part of Villa Estrella.
