I am Simone, the owner and manager of Casale Sterpeti, together with my wife Irene. We were both born and raised in Maremma Tuscany and are enthusiastic about our province, which we believe, as passionate travelers, is one of the best places to live and certainly one of the most popular places to visit in Italy.

We would love to share some information about you as individuals with our customers. Would you like to tell us more about yourself? For example, your interests, leisure activities, work, family, holidays?

We are passionate about traveling, and during holidays, we love to travel as tourists and discover as much of the world as possible.

When and how did the accommodation come into your life, and what motivated you to make it a part of your life?

We discovered Casale Sterpeti in early 2015 while looking for a place in the surrounding countryside with a good price and a view that included vineyards, olive groves, and the Mediterranean coast.

Can you tell us more about the process of renovating and furnishing your accommodation?

The property has existed for decades and gave us a mixed feeling of historical value and neglect. During the renovation, we preserved the original character and combined it with modern hospitality and comfort. We restored old stones, renewed the roof, and added technology such as solar panels and water-saving systems.

What makes your accommodation truly special for you? Are there special memories or moments that make it extra dear to you?

Casale Sterpeti is special because it is the place we have been able to restore and share with guests from around the world who want to experience our beautiful region.

How would you describe the atmosphere and interior of your accommodation?

Our team works hard every day to create a serene, relaxed atmosphere without compromising excellent service. We strive for our guests to make unforgettable memories during their stay.

Which part of your accommodation do you find the most beautiful, and why?

It’s hard to say, but some views from the rooms at certain times of the day are particularly beautiful. Enjoying a glass of wine in the garden during sunset is also one of the highlights.

What makes the location of your accommodation unique and special?

The tranquility that our guests feel in every corner, both inside and outside, makes the experience truly unique.

Are there sustainable or environmentally friendly practices associated with your accommodation that you are proud of?

We save water for irrigation and use solar panels to heat our sanitary water, which helps us remain environmentally friendly.

Can you provide a vivid description of the overall experience that guests can expect during their stay at your accommodation?

Guests can immerse themselves in nature, enjoy local dishes during breakfast, relax on nearby beaches, or explore the historic center of a local village. Upon returning to Casale Sterpeti, they can unwind in our panoramic garden with an aperitivo.

We focus on improving our service every day, so we have no point of comparison with other accommodations, but we strive for the best possible experience for our guests.
