Casa el Norte is the owner’s former family home, where she enjoyed endless summer holidays as a child. The authentic Spanish finca was totally renovated in 2014, and is now a fresh and stylish holiday home surrounded by almond trees and grape vines. Perched on a hill, the property boasts beautiful views of Mount Montgo, scattered cottages, farmland and, to the distance, the charming village of Benitachell ... the ideal holiday destination for those looking for peace and tranquillity, yet with the option of entertainment in the near vicinity. he owner has tastefully renovated the spacious casa; radiant white walls and beautiful wooden doors and beams contrast with the sleek, grey floor that extends throughout the holiday home. There are three generous bedrooms and three fresh, new bathrooms, ensuring everyone has their own privacy. All bedroom windows are equipped with mosquito nets for undisturbed sleep, and additional extras, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, Wi-Fi and under floor heating, provide a welcome touch of modern comfort. Outdoor living at Casa el Norte is simply idyllic; there’s a large swimming pool surrounded by hammocks, loungers and parasols ... and guests can dine al-fresco on the pretty covered terrace, accompanied by views of mount "Montgo" and truly spectacular sunsets. Each bedroom opens out onto a terrace and ample seating is arranged around the property, allowing guests to make the most of that famous Spanish sunshine.

  • Regarding to the period September to December (with regards to (floor) heating and hot water): assuming normal use, you will switch off the underfloor heating during the day and if necessary only switch it on between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. at a maximum of 19 degrees. Only from November to December it is often pleasant to leave the floor heating on at 19 degrees during the day.
  • The water that can be seen at the front of the house (in the photo that also shows the pergola) will probably be closed soon.
  • Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, children between the ages of 2 and 6, without a swimming certificate, are not welcome.
  • An extra cleaning can be requested for 25 Euros per hour. 

Reservations are considered valid after receipt of a down payment of 30% of the total rental costs. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the day of arrival. If your booking is done within 6 weeks before arrival, you are required to pay the full amount immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before arrival 50% of the received down payment will be refunded. No refund will take place in case of cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival. We therefore strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance.

The owners of The Great Beauty require a security deposit of 500 Euro, this amount must be paid to Nice2stay along with the remaining amount of the rent 6 weeks before your stay. Nice2stay will return the deposit within two weeks of departure from the house.

Higher heating costs for underfloor heating and hot water regarding to the months of September to December:

  • Assuming normal use, you will switch off the underfloor heating during the day and if necessary only switch it on between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. at a maximum of 19 degrees. Only from November to December it is often pleasant to leave the floor heating on at 19 degrees during the day.
  • During the months of January to March the owner normally does not rent out the house, but longer stays are possible on request (under special conditions).

Casa el Norte located on the Costa Blanca, between the cities of Valencia and Alicante. From the beautiful city of Valencia is approximately 1.5 hours drive to the south. The house is located amid the farmland of Benitachell, with a large amount of almond trees, orange trees, fig, lemon trees and grape growing. The property consists of 7.700m2 and offers an optimum sense of privacy. Yet Casa el Norte is not isolated. Just located outside the village of Benitachell with some facilities and the MasyMas supermarket is even a walk down the hill. In the summer also open on Sunday morning.

From Casa el Norte to reach the beaches within a fifteen minute drive. The nearest beach (4km) is the magnificent Cala Moraig (located between the rocks with a small eatery). The beaches of Javea can be reached by bicycle. The beaches of Moraira (15 min) and Denia (30 min) are also nice options. There is 3km away a 9 hole golf course ("Javea Golf Course") and about 13 km there is the beautiful Olazabal golf course with 27 holes ("La Sella" Golf Course). In the area of Alicante and Valencia are the most beautiful golf courses. All located within 100km of the house. The surrounding mountains are beautiful for a walk or ride. Also horseback riding and surfing are among the possibilities. Then there is the lively nightlife of Javea, Denia and Moraira.. nowadays with many top restaurants and bars.

Casa el Norte is located just outside the small village of Benitachell, in farmland cultivated with almond trees, orange trees, fig trees, lemon trees and grape vines. The house sits on a generous 7700-m2 plot and offers maximum privacy.

Layout of the finca (250 m2): 

  • The living areas are all open plan, affording a real sense of spaciousness.
  • To the front of the holiday home is a long open space where on one side a reading / dining table has been created, and on the other, a lovely sitting area. There’s an additional (guest) toilet that also houses the washing machine.
  • This side of the property boasts a bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, complete with shower, toilet and wash basin. The bedroom opens out onto the patio.
