Not far from the city of Lecce (Puglia) - in a quiet spot in the village of San Cesario di Lecce - is set a beautiful nineteenth-century house called 'Distilia Dimora Salentina'. Once the residence of a large bourgeoisie family, this old palazzo has been architecturally restored without losing its natural elegance.
The characteristic features such as the authentic façade in typical Lecce stone, the wrought-iron balconies, and vaulted ceilings have been carefully preserved. The decorated terrazzo floors and ceiling decorations have been restored to their original splendor and complemented by a unique mix of vintage and design furniture as well as antiques and a range of colors.

The 4 apartments (for 2-4 persons) and 3 suites of Distilia are all different from each other, but each one of them is cared for down to the smallest details and equipped with every comfort. All apartments have a sitting or dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and some have a private terrace or balcony. The common areas are perfect for a moment of relaxation, there is a Spa, a (small) swimming pool with a sun deck in the garden, and in the beautiful courtyard, you can unwind with a good book.

The owners are very hospitable and are available at any time of the day for questions or tips for excursions. The palazzo is just a 20-minute drive from the Adriatic Sea, and a short distance from the coastal towns of Gallipoli and Otranto.

For couples or families looking for a relaxing holiday between culture and beach, Distilia is a perfect place that is a bit different from the rest.

A unique place for relaxation and discovering the Salento region

Distilia is a beautiful old palazzo that is centrally but quietly located in the village of San Cesario di Lecce. The completely renovated house has 4 apartments (for 2-4 persons) and 3 suites (for 2-3 persons), all of which have characteristic original elements, old restored floors, and carefully selected vintage and design furniture. The apartments and suites are equipped with a living area and a bathroom with a shower and some also have a private terrace or balcony.

All apartments and suites come with air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi internet, and coffee and tea making facilities. In addition, the apartments have a small kitchen.

Guest share a small swimming pool - open from March 1st to October 31st - with a sun deck and loungers as well as a Spa. Perfect for some relaxing hours!
