Located in the historical centre of the Italian town Spello, between the medieval buildings on a narrow, winding street, you will find the colourful and artsy apartment Il Cortile ("the courtyard"). The charming owner Andrea has transformed the old apartment into a welcoming and playful holiday home. Upon entering, you are greeted by vibrant colours, retro furniture, beautiful carpets and eye-catching art. After successfully renovating and renting out other flats and villas in the enchanting town Spello, the owner diceded to start a new project and has transformed Il Cortile into a hidden gem in this beautiful part of Umbria.
You enter the house in the open living room, which overlooks the rolling hills of the Chiona valley. Further on, you will find a cosy dining area and the simple, but well-equipped kitchen. The artsy decorations were collected by Andrea during her many trips. She provides a hospitable and welcoming service and will make you feel right at home during your stay. The apartment has one bedroom and has the possibility to convert the large sofa bed in the living room into a very comfortable bed for 2 children. This makes Il Cortile perfect for a couple, as well as for a family of 4. With a staircase leading to the basement of the building, you enter the bathroom with large shower, toilet and a beautiful stone sink. Here you will also find the absolute highlight of the flat: the inviting terrace with a fantastic view that will immediately give you the Italian holiday feeling. Here you can enjoy an aperitif or a nice dinner, while watching the medieval town turn soft pink when the sun sets.
Stepping out of the door, it will only take you a few minutes to reach the central square of the picturesque and lively town of Spello. Spello is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Umbria with inviting narrow streets and an authentic atmosphere. But also the surrounding area is worth to be discovered. Take a drive through breathtaking landscapes and hidden villages, visit the nearby cities of Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto and taste excellent local wines and dishes during the pleasant regional festivals.

The inviting and stylish flat Il Cortile is located in the centre of the Umbrian town of Spello - a beautiful medieval town surrounded by lush countryside. The attractive decoration and hospitable service of the owner will make you feel right at home!
Il Cortile is located above the owner's other flat, Apartment Limone. If available, the apartments can also be rented together.
Il Cortile | 2 persons (+ 2 children):
- Open living room with lounge chairs, satellite TV, and large sofa. The sofa can be converted into a double sofa bed.
- Dining area with round dining table for 4 people and adjacent to the open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, coffee machine (filter and percolator), fridge freezer, kettle, other cooking utensils, and beautiful crockery.
- Bedroom with a king-size bed, carefully selected bed linen, and clothing storage.
- From the living room, a staircase leads to the basement of the flat, where you will find the bathroom and French doors to the courtyard. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink, and spacious shower.
- Air conditioning is available in the bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen.
- French doors give access to a lovely private terrace overlooking the streets of Spello and further on the Umbrian hills. On the terrace, there are two sun beds, two lounge chairs, and a small table.
- A shared large garden (360sqm) just 50 meters from the apartment. You share the garden with the guests of the owner's other apartment, Apartment Limone.
