Discover the ancient village of Aldeia de Cima, centrally located in rural Portugal, between Lisbon and Porto. Abandoned for more than 70 years, Portuguese friends, Manuel and Victor, decided to bring the unparalleled beauty of this forgotten Portuguese village back to life. With the utmost care and respect for the authenticity of the region, they succeeded in creating Villa Pedra: a fairy-tale tourist village comprising ten spacious and extremely comfortable holiday apartments, each with private and secluded huge outside spaces. The setting is charming, magical and unique – a truly idyllic holiday destination where guests are treated to an exceptionally warm welcome and enjoy a genuinely friendly service throughout their stay.
The characterful holiday homes are suitable for 2 to 6 people. They boast highly distinctive interiors that have been tastefully furnished using a funky blend of contemporary art, iconic furniture, and design - a pleasing contrast to the natural stone floors and original stone walls of the ancient ruins. Book Villa Pedra's upgrade for a very comfortable stay: opt for daily cleaning service, have your fridge stocked with all the essentials for breakfast, and get a bag of homemade bread hanging at your front door each morning.
The spacious, rugged and well-tended garden incorporates a number of delightful areas in which to relax and unwind, including a wonderfully inviting swimming pool. There’s also plenty of traffic-free space for the kids to run wild in.
