Before we dive into the details, can you briefly introduce yourself and your family?

My name is Molly, I am 42 years old and live in Belgium. Together with my family, I own several properties on the island of Skiathos, including OHLIVE Villa I, II, V, and Beach Villa.

We would love to share a bit about you as a person with our clients. Would you like to tell us more about yourself?

I am happily married and have two children aged 9 and 12. In my free time, I enjoy pilates, traveling, discovering new dishes and places, and occasionally throwing a small party. My passion for Greece, especially Skiathos with its many beaches, inspired me to manage our construction company on the island. We built the villas and now operate them.

When and how did the property come into your life, and what motivated you to make it part of your life?

About 8 years ago, we discovered Skiathos and fell in love with the tranquil northwest of the island, Kechria, with its stunning sunsets and nature reserves. We bought a piece of land and, together with a brilliant architectural team, began developing our villas. The demand for more villas led to the establishment of our own construction company and my involvement in running this special accommodation.

Can you tell us more about the process of renovating and furnishing your accommodation?

Our villas have been recently built, between 2021 and 2023. We have closely collaborated with our architectural team and an interior stylist to choose a palette of natural beige and gray colors, as well as various natural materials. The result is a harmonious and modern decor that reflects the natural beauty of the surroundings.

What makes your accommodation truly special to you? Are there any special memories or moments that make it extra dear to you?

The proximity to the beach and the sea, combined with the beauty of the green area and crystal-clear water, makes every evening in one of our villas special. Enjoying a glass of Skiathian wine at sunset, followed by a barbecue or a meal at the taverna, completes my perfect evening in Skiathos.

How would you describe the atmosphere and decor of your accommodation?

Our villas have interiors featuring many natural colors and materials such as wood and natural stone. We use local stone cladding sourced from the land on which we built, creating an authentic and natural feel.

What part of your accommodation do you find the most beautiful and why?

The outdoor terraces with their breathtaking views of the Mandraki Nature Reserve, the sea, and the mainland are particularly beautiful. It is wonderful to relax by one of the infinity pools and enjoy the view.

What makes the location of your accommodation unique and special?

Our villas are located in the most stunning part of Skiathos, with unique sunsets and an unspoiled natural area. The nearby ‘Magical Forest’ invites walks, and there are 60 beautiful beaches on the island. The central location makes it easy to reach the town, the old port, and popular beaches like Koukounaries.

Are there sustainable or eco-friendly features associated with your accommodation that you are proud of?

We reuse stones for the cladding and use solar water heaters in many of our villas, contributing to sustainability.

What motivated or inspired you to rent your property to guests?

We want as many people as possible to enjoy the beauty of our villas. Why should we be the only ones to enjoy this beautiful estate?
