Hidden between the green hills, in the hinterland of Malaga, is set Casa Cariño in peace and privacy. The house has an exclusive location with breathtaking views over the countryside with glimpses of the sea in the distance. The Spanish-style house with a striking tower was furnished by its Dutch owner with 'cariño' (love), attention to detail, and above all great taste. Traditional elements such as old tiled floors, beamed ceilings, carved wooden doors and antique cupboards blend harmoniously with the natural tones and materials that adorn the walls and floors, from woven carpets and rattan lamps to beautiful bedspreads and a large amount of pillows that together provide a homely and warm ambiance.

Casa Cariño also offers every comfort, with a fully equipped kitchen where you will lack nothing and a living room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas for a cozy evening together on cool days. There are four bedrooms (for 8 people) with bathrooms, one of which is on the upper floor next to the tower with a separate entrance!

The sheltered outdoor terrace is adorned by an organically shaped swimming pool with sunbeds and thatched parasols that contribute to a relaxed Mediterranean feel. You will find inviting lounge spots in and out of the sun for a morning coffee or a moment for yourself with a good book. In the evening, the outdoor bar invites you for an aperitif and you can enjoy al-fresco meals at the outdoor table with, of course, the awe-inspiring views of the mountains.

The surroundings are authentic and versatile, typical small villages such as Canillas de Aceituno are scattered in the hills with many hiking opportunities, while the reservoir Viñuela and the Costa de Sol can be reached within a short drive for water sports, the sea, and the beach.
